The sky just opened up and dumped rather a lot of rain here. There is nothing better than lying in bed at night hearing the sound of the rain outside. Around 3.30am this morning the sky opened up and it poured. I am not sure how long it rained for as … well .. i fell asleep straight away.

It must be the weather for the sky opening up. Half an hour ago ago the sky just opened up and it poured down with the rain really belting down. I took the time to stand in the back door and just watch it come down as it was kind of restful. There was also a touch of thunder and the subtle flashes of lighting. It could have been a big bolt but no telling with the clouds and the rain.

Still it could have been worse. I could have gone to the cricket
