*Sigh*!

I must admit to being a little disconcerted at present. Google has tweaked their algorithm that Page Rank is calculated on which has had a flow on effect of seeing page ranks drop all over the internet. Now for those that are saying “page what?”, it is a measure of a web sites popularity and the higher the ranking, the more generally they can charge advertisers for advertising space. Its caused a big panic amoung some areas of the internet who are seeing the potential for big earnings drop.

Back here at my blog its had an effect with my own page rank for this and other blogs dropping somewhat which is a bad thing. With a drop in page rank it cuts the amount i can charge for sponsored opportunities and advertising. Indeed the opportunities themselves may slow and dry up like my cash flow. Time will tell

Damn that google, i think it has gone against its motto and done me evil!
