I saw a movie today that sitting back to write about is a little different to describe. It was Michael Clayton with George Clooney in the lead role.

The story is set again the backdrop of a giant company being sued for one of its products, a pesticide, that is highly effective at killing people and has found itself in a lawsuit for the cancer and death that followed for three billion. Six years in the lead layer defending the company goes off his medication and turns in to a morally conflicted lunatic who wants to cross sides to help. In steps the law firms “fixer” to make sense of things and to carry out damage control. Meanwhile the Company’s in house chief counsel finds herself out of her depth and while scrambling for a settlement, also opts for some more direct action.

I won’t spoil the ending but while there are some good performances it failed to grab me. The ending in particular was a little ho hum and while it was enjoyable enough, its not something i would rush to see again.
