Viva Las Vegas

You know, Ive seen it online in countless tv shows and movies but I have never been to Las Vegas and I was thinking one day soon I would like to. I have just been reading the Las Vegas vacation information blog which is a good source of information for those intending to holiday there.

Now with everything you see on tv, its not often the way it really is and thats why when I go to Las Vegas I would want to see more. I am not much of a gambler but reading about some of the Las Vegas day trips who would have time to gamble anyway. Reading that I found that Las Vegas isnt as out of the way as I thought as there are many interesting attractions that included:

  • Boulder City its got a great historic district dating back to when the town was built in the 1930s and also Native American Jewelers.
  • Laughlin is 100 miles south of Las Vegas on the banks of the Colorado Riverand has ten riverfront resorts offering activities including swimming, boating, fishing and there are even near by ghost towns to explore.
  • For those wishing more excitement, the Town of Primm is 40 minutes drive from Las Vegasand has three resort locations featuring not only gaming but also roller coasters, upscale outlets. And if you like history you can even see the car that Bonnie and Clydewere driving when the law caught up with them.

Ive not really even scratched the surface of what there is to do around Las Vegasfor someone like me that hardly gambles but it does make me want to go there one day soon! Better save those cents!
