When i joined Webflicks, I wondered about the business model and whether it was sustainable, renting an unlimited number of movies a month to people sent via post to and returned by the same way. I watched the movies as soon as i got them and they were always in the mail back for a replacement the next day. No way they were going to make money from me, i was going to get my money back.

Over the next few months i watched many movies and returned them promptly. Eventually i reduced the plan i was on as i couldn’t keep watching as much as i was. I would get one and watch it when i got around to it. Sometimes it might take a week or more to watch it but i would still watch it and send it back in time to get a few movies.

It was at the time that i realised that i had a movie for over a month that i realised that I knew how the company made their money. WIth people like me that eventually loose interest and take ages to watch their movies.

I’ve cancelled my account. They made their money!
