The evening news greeted me with the strange news of snow falling on a bushfire. I feel for the fire fighters, trying to stay warm and fight the fire at the same time must be a difficult situation to be in. Its a couple of states away from me but its nice for a change to not be the only place going through a cold spell.

I was out tonight at Pam’s place. Driving there was unpleasant with a bit of sleet and a few hail stones. What made it worse was the people still trying to drive at the speed limit regardless of the conditions. I’m just glad it had stopped driving home a while back!
