Sometimes the best customer service just can’t save you

I recently had the most unfortunate of customer service experiences that despie the best efforts of the customer service representative, they just couldn’t save themselves. The product in question is a monthly subscription and each month they send me the latest thing but instead they sent the same product twice which naturally didn’t work for me – i wanted the new stuff – so it went like this:
Thursday: I sent their support email a polite email explaining that i had received the same stuff twice and could i instead have the new stuff please.
Tuesday: I had received no reply so i wrote another polite email to them again requesting the items
Saturday: They posted a post to their corporate blog saying how great they were and that their customer service was first rate
Saturday 5 mins later: I posted a comment on their blog saying that actually their service doesn’t work that well at all and explained that they had ignored my emails twice after stuffing up on my order
Sunday: I got email from customer support with an apology saying sorry and that they would send me the right stuff with no additional cost, gushing
Two weeks later: Normally takes 3 to 4 days – still not here
Its disappointing when dealing with a company that you like that no matter how hard they try, they can’t lift themselves out of their own incompetence. If you try and say your great then at least attempt to deliver on it slightly!
